Connect groups are people gathered together around God’s Word who encourage, honor, care for, forgive, love, accept, mourn and rejoice with, share and bear burdens of, nurture and build up each other! Everyone is welcome to become a part of a connect group at any time.

Women

L.W.M.L.

For 75 years, LWML has helped to nurture, motivate, and prepare women to serve the Lord with gladness. Please come join us for fellowship, Bible study, service projects, and group activities.  See the announcement pages for full details!

TOGETHER IN HIS WORD

This group of women meets weekly on Tuesday mornings. Their gathering time includes prayer, Bible study, fellowship and a freewill offering for our Together In Mission missionaries. Ladies are welcome, and bring a friend!
 
Meets Tuesday mornings from 10:00-11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. 

W.I.L.D. G.I.R.L.S.

Women In Lifelong Development, Growing In Relationships, and Loving Spiritually is a group made up of caring women desiring to grow stronger in their relationship with God and with each other.
 
They meet on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at 9:00 am at Risen Savior for Bible Study.

SEW-JOURNERS IN STITCHES

If you are an experienced sewer or just wanting to learn something new, please come and join the fun. We make quilt squares to make quilt tops for missions. Bring your sewing machine (if you have one). There are also ironing and cutting jobs available.
 
This group of women meets once a month from 9:00 am to Noon.

S.O.L.A.

SOLA (Strength Of Living Alone) is a new Connect Group for Widows to care for and support each other. They go to lunch together after church the second Sunday of the month. 

Men

#6 OVER EASY

 
Join us for breakfast and Bible Study. Order your own breakfast and feel free to leave when you need to go to work!
 
This men’s cell group meets each Friday at 8 am at Fairmount Coffee Co. at WSU on 17th Street.

BASKETBALL

Come join us for a time of recreational basketball for men 21-years old and older in the multipurpose room. Please avoid wearing black-soled shoes.
 
Start time is 6:30 – 7:30 pm every Thursday evening.

Everyone

SECOND SATURDAYS

The second Saturday of the month we gather together to try a new restaurant or visit a favorite!

FORE HIM!

 
The Fore Him!! golf group plays at Sand Creek Station in Newton. This is a fun, social get-together for golfers of all abilities. Invite friends, family, and coworkers to enjoy an afternoon with some great company.  They tee off on the 4th Thursday of the month, around 1:00 pm.

P.O.G.O.

Parents Of Grown Offspring support one another in the unique blessings of having grown children.
 
They meet once a month on a Sunday evening for a meal and Bible Study.

P.R.I.M.E.

We’re People Right In the Middle of Everything (ages 20s, 30s, and 40s). Come join us! We meet every Sunday morning in Room 110, and we also frequently meet outside of church for group outings.

STAINED GLASS

 
The beautiful stained-glass windows in the Multipurpose Room were made by this group!
 
They meet every other Sunday at 3:00 pm at the home of a member.

STAMP CAMP

Come help make greeting cards to be sent to those who could use some encouragement. No stamping experience is necessary!
 
Meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 1:00-4:00 pm at a member’s home.

FEEDING YOUR FAITH AT CROSSOVER RECOVERY CENTER

A meal and Bible Study is provided on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at the CrossOver Recover Center to men and women working on their recovery from drug & alcohol addictions.  You’re invited to help prepare & serve the meals and participate in discussion!

SENIOR GAME TIME

Seniors, come play games and spend time in fellowship on the third Friday of the month at 10:30 a.m. Please use entrance #2. 

WESTSIDERS

This group meets on the “west side” of Wichita and is studying on Mondays at 6:30 pm. 

CARING MEALS

Join us the 3rd Friday of each month at 10 a.m. to prepare meals for those who can use an extra measure of care.  Volunteers are needed to help cook or deliver meals!
